Sweet & Spicy Double Pepper Beef

3 c cooked rice

1 lb ground beef

4 cloves fresh minced garlic

1 tbsp red onion chopped

2 green bell peppers chopped

2 jalapenos seeded & minced

1 tbsp Worcestershire

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp Japanese Pepper

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

¼ c peanut butter

2 tbsp brown sugar

½ c water

Begin by preparing your favorite rice. I make Jasmine rice for this dish but any rice will do just fine.

Brown ground beef in large skillet, drain any excess oil. Then add onion and garlic to the pan and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes on low. At this time, add soy and Worcestershire sauce, as well as salt, pepper, Japanese pepper, and ginger.

Next add jalapenos and bell pepper to pan and raise heat to medium. I only cook these for a few minutes so that they hold some crunch and color.

Last, add peanut butter and brown sugar to your pan and mix well. Add water, and stir. Simmer on low for five minutes and taste for preferred seasoning.

Serve with rice, and soy sauce. Top with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion.
